OpenSpace is Starfish Foundation’s locally run opportunity hub for education and co-working space based in the heart of Mytilene, enabling opportunities to occur and projects to flourish by making space for a range of activities for both the local and the refugee community.

OpenSpace is one of Starfish’s most ambitious and innovative projects on the island. It serves as a networking hub among different organizations and different communities. The co-working space facilities have been used by a number of individuals as a work space whilst numerous organisations have used its facilities to run their own projects.

Some of Starfish’s projects take place here such as self defense and empowerment classes, sewing classes, seminars and of course anyone can come and enjoy our multilingual library which includes over 7,000 books. Free unlimited tea and coffee are provided.
